Whether know me as a designer, dancer, instructor or artist, I love connecting to people through my creativity.
Through CepedaMade Studios, I’ll be sharing my passion for art & design through my original illustrations and paintings, and whatever other opportunities arise!

How I do it
I’m pretty handy with pixels and paint. I love digitally collaging anything I do by hand, or creating bit by bit on the computer or tablet. I’ve worked in the Print and Graphic Design Field since 1989, so I know my way around working with pixels & vectors in all the design programs, but I’ve just begun working in ProCreate. It looks like it’s going to change the way I’m creating, and I’m thrilled for this evolution!
I like to digitally collage my sketches in Illustrator, and sometimes layer my watercolors into my prints!
I keep trying to expand my skills to work less on the computer and get back experimenting with other techniques, but in getting started back up, it looks like I’m becoming a WordPress Expert lol!
Regardless, I’m just looking forward to using this platform as a way to motivate myself to do more work for all of us to enjoy!
Where I live
Home for me is beautiful Seattle Washington. I’ve lived in the area since 1987, and before that Tacoma, Washington and a brief couple of years in Germany! Seattle became home when I moved here to study at The Art Institute of Seattle for Visual Communications.
I live just 5 miles from downtown Seattle and love being surrounded by mountains and the gorgeous Puget Sound. Even though I don’t get down to the water ever day, just seeing and knowing the water is there for me is a calming force in my life. Not to mention absorbing all the healing negative ions that water releases!
I traveled quite a bit to Spain from 2016-2020, and have done a fair amount of traveling around the world with some new destinations in mind Post Covid. I’ll be traveling with an artist’s eye this time around!
